El ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA), puede romperse de manera incompleta en algunas ocasiones, de manera que, al operarse, puede conservarse la parte intacta del mismo.
Los Dres Espejo han publicado una nueva técnica quirúrgica para la reconstrucción las roturas parciales del LCA en la revista Arthroscopy techniques, la revista de técnicas de la Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
La citada técnica quirúrgica utiliza una fijación invertida , colocando un sistema de suspensión en la tibia y realiza un túnel en posición “Over the top”, evitando dañar la parte de LCA que queda sana.
